Anxiety & Panic
When anxiety takes over, it can feel like your mind won’t slow down and your body won’t let you breathe. You may look “fine” on the outside while constantly bracing for the next wave of worry, tension, or panic. At Still Waters, we help you understand what your anxiety is trying to protect you from, and gently teach your nervous system how to finally rest.
Together, we’ll create practical tools to manage overwhelming moments, calm your body, and reclaim the peace and confidence you deserve.
Trauma & EMDR
Trauma doesn’t just live in your memories, it lives in your body. You may find yourself reacting before you can think, feeling stuck, on edge, or disconnected from your own life. EMDR offers a powerful, research-backed way to help your brain process what happened so you can move forward without reliving it.
We provide a safe, steady, and compassionate space for healing, helping you release old patterns, restore regulation in your nervous system, and rebuild a sense of safety from the inside out.
Betrayal Trauma
Few experiences cut as deeply as discovering a partner’s affair, addiction, or deception. Betrayal trauma shakes your sense of safety, trust, and identity, leaving you questioning everything you believed. You are not “overreacting,” and you are not alone.
Our work focuses on stabilizing your emotions, healing attachment wounds, rebuilding boundaries, and helping you reconnect to your inner strength. You can regain clarity, security, and the ability to trust your own voice again.
Relationship Issues
Whether you’re navigating recurring conflict, emotional distance, communication breakdowns, or unmet needs, relationship challenges can feel overwhelming and isolating. In therapy, you’ll learn to understand your patterns, speak your truth without fear, and create healthier ways of relating, both with yourself and with others.
We help you build deeper connection, repair what’s been damaged, and cultivate relationships that feel safe, supportive, and authentic.
Depression & Emotional Numbness
Depression doesn’t always look like sadness. For many, it shows up as exhaustion, irritability, or feeling “shut down.” You may be going through the motions while feeling disconnected from joy, motivation, or meaning.
In therapy, we explore the deeper roots of your emotional heaviness and help you reconnect with yourself in a gentle, compassionate way. Together, we’ll rebuild your sense of hope, energy, and purpose, one grounded step at a time.
Self-Esteem & Identity
We help you explore your identity, understand where your inner critic came from, and build a stronger, kinder relationship with yourself. Through this work, you’ll cultivate confidence, clarity, and a sense of being firmly rooted in your own worth.
Stress & Burnout
We’ll work together to restore balance, reduce stress responses, set healthier boundaries, and reconnect you with what nourishes and energizes you.
“Still Waters isn’t just therapy, it’s a place of real connection. My anxiety feels manageable now, and I have tools for the future.”

How do I know if therapy is right for me?
If you feel stuck, overwhelmed, disconnected, or simply curious about your own growth, therapy can help. You don’t need to be in crisis to benefit from support.
You can call and talk about it and say no. It’s ok to learn more and and then move on.
What should I expect in the first session?
The first session is about getting to know you, your story, your goals, and your concerns. It’s a safe space to talk openly and begin building trust without pressure or judgment.
Do you offer virtual therapy sessions?
Yes. We offer both in-person and secure virtual sessions to accommodate your needs and comfort.
How do I get started?
